5 Star Restaurant Breakfast & Lunch – Friendly Dining & Delicious Meals in Eastpointe, MI

The owners were very friendly and the rest of the staff as well. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Would definitely come back again and recommend this place to others!

Food and staff are great! We always have a great experience. Typically go for breakfast, but their lunches are great as well. Really good chicken sandwich and good tarter sauce.

Not only is the food amazing but the staff here is excellent. Very friendly and professional. Eating here is similar to gathering with friends and family. I love eating here. Such a warm friendly atmosphere.

Wanted to give 5 Star a try for breakfast, the coffee and decaf coffee were good. I had a waffle which was very good, and they either use real maple suryp, or a very good fake. Eggs and bacon are average. Wife ordered her hashbrowns extra crispy and they weren't. Good price for the quality and quantity of food. We'll add this place to our regular breakfast rotation.

2024 October updated review Got to say, this is still as good as it was a year ago. Had the corned beef hash breakfast. Loving it!!! I said I was going to brings some guests with me next time I stopped in. But, alas, I was by myself…maybe next time! They changed their outside sign. Was looking for the restaurant and had to closely look for their name. Even had to google map it to make sure it was the same restaurant. 2023 Review Great food! Great service! First time here and marked it on Google maps as a place I wanted to go. Finally made it here! Was in the mood for some good corned beef hash. They did not disappoint! The hash was crispy and the corned beef was really good (firm but not dried out like some other places). Yummmm!! Next time I'll bring some guests with me!

First time I was here with a friend,was 10 / 2025 rating staff are on their toes. The place is very clean and new Breakfast was perfectly made. Had eggs, toast, bacon, grits,& coffee & water waitress was very friendly. I would go back again and i've already told people about the place.

My dad's favorite spot for biscuits and gravy! It was clean, all the wait staff was friendly, and the food was great. I had the french toast (made with Texas toast) it was super fluffy and soft with crisp edges, made perfectly. We did wait a little while for our food, but it was clearly busy (carryouts and all). Also the wait staff and the bus boy were hustling to clear up tables as people came in. Great hole in the wall find! Give them a try!

Five Star is a hidden gem in the heart of Michigan. It’s a small, family-owned restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is top-notch. I’ve been to Five Star a many times now, and I’ve never been disappointed. The menu is extensive. The service at Five Star is always friendly and attentive. The staff is always happy to make recommendations, and they’re always quick to refill your coffee. If you’re looking for a great spot, I highly recommend Five Star. You won’t be disappointed.
